The Rugby League International Federation has released the latest world rankings for both the men’s and women’s versions of the game, with some big movers following the 2017 Rugby League World Cups. (Photo: NRLPhotos).

The Kiwis and Kiwi Ferns are both ranked second behind Australia, while Mate Ma’a Tonga jump from 11th to fourth.

Rating points are awarded for all sanctioned internationals over the previous five years and are calculated by an independent company sports data experts. A higher weighting is given to the most recent internationals to calculate rating points and then the rating index.
