Former Kiwi winner Jake Webster kickstarted a flurry of New Zealand try-scoring action on Thursday when he scored one of Castleford’s 12 tries in a 66-10 romp of Leeds.
In Greater Manchester, Junior Sa’u scored twice as Salford got past 2016 Super League runners-up ,Warrington, by 24-14, with 2010 Junior Kiwis representative, Lama Tasi, contributing 31 tackles for the Red Devils.

Howick Hornets junior Anthony Gelling grabbed a double as Wigan shutout Leigh 20-0, while former New Zealand Warriors Patrick Ah Van and Aaron Heremaia both scored to help Widnes rescue a 14-all draw against the Catalans Dragons.
Down in the Championship competition, Chris Ulugia scored Featherstone Rovers’ lone try in a 10-9 loss to Rochdale, while another level down in the third tier, the Toronto Wolfpack’s League 1 debut had a heavy Kiwi flavour to it.

Former Kiwi international Fuifui Moimoi crossed for three tries up front, while Auckland-born back Quentin Laulu-Togagae also scored a four-pointer in the historic match, which saw the Wolfpack win 76-0.
