Auckland-born flyer Denny Solomona has, unsurprisingly, added another highlight to his stellar 2016 season with inclusion in the Super League Dream Team.

After scoring 40 tries across the Super League season – a number which smashed the previous record of 36, held by another New Zealander in Lesley Vainikolo – Solomona was an obvious selection on the flank in the Team of the Year.

It is the first time the former Storm lower-grader has been selected in the Dream Team, and in 2016 he is the sole Kiwi representative.

The Super League Dream Team is selected by a panel of the sport’s broadcasters and journalists in a secret ballot and represents the form team of the season.
