NZ Player of the Week – Rd 7

Each week fans on our social media accounts vote for their NZ Player of the Round, with a running leaderboard which decides the 2017 kiwileaguecentral.com NZ Player of the Year.

Warriors skipper Roger Tuivasa-Sheck put in another strong performance for his side in a tough loss to Canberra, and was the clear winner of the NZ Player of the Week for Round 7.

With 200 running metres to his name and a line break as well, ‘RTS’ was an excellent contributor on attack and would have scored a try in the first half had it not been for a miraculous tackle from Raiders centre Jarrod Croker.

The runner up for Round 7 features in voting for the first time this year, with Eels centre Kirisome Auva’a enjoying a big day out for the Eels at the expense of the Tigers.

The Otahuhu junior scored a double and set up a third try.

Brisbane halfback and 2015 Kiwis rep Kodi Nikorima and current NZ Player of the Year leader Jason Taumalolo picked up the remaining points last week.
