Each week fans on our social media accounts vote for their NZ Player of the Round, with a running leaderboard which decides the 2017 kiwileaguecentral.com NZ Player of the Year.
A Kiwi favourite received 2017 NZ Player of the Year votes for the first time this year, with Benji Marshall grabbing a point after a strong performance in the halves for the Brisbane Broncos in an eventual losing effort.
Joining him in the Round 13 voting was wing sensation Jordan Rapana, who racked up some incredible stats across the 80 minutes for Canberra last week.
With three line breaks, well over 200 running metres, a pair of tries and a try assist, there can be little doubt now that Rapana is the best winger in the game.
Manly enforcer Martin Taupau claimed second place with a commanding showing on the ball, while reigning Dally M Jason Taumalolo was third.
