Maori women shutout by Gems
The New Zealand Maori Ferns failed to land a shot in an 18-0 loss to the First Nation Gems on Saturday afternoon in Sydney.
While able to match the home side physically, the Maori let themselves down with poor handling and an awful completion rate, which eventually saw them crack under heavy pressure in defence.

At the other end the visitors couldn’t find a way through, with the match finishing at 18-0.
