The World Champion Kangaroos account for eight positions in the Rugby League World magazine selection, which is judged by 12 rugby league journalists spread between the northern and southern hemispheres.

Former Kiwi enforcer Jason Taumalolo Australian captain and hooker Cameron Smith were the only players to receive maximum votes from the judging panel.
