New Zealand back-rower Ben Murdoch-Masila continued his excellent start to 2017 with a double for Salford against Widnes, making it seven tries across the first 12 games of the campaign.

While Murdoch-Masila’s Red Devils were easy winners, west Aucklander Patrick Ah Van scored a try for Widnes.

The current competition leaders, Castleford, made easy work for 2016 champions Wigan, downing the Warriors 54-4 in a dominant showing which included a Jake Webster try.

In the second-tier Championship Chris Ulugia scored a try for Featherstone in their win over Sheffield, with Misi Taulapapa also taking the field for Rovers.

Former New Zealand Maori representative Api Pewhairangi clocked 18 of London’s 38 points in a victory against Swinton, with the Manawatu product kicking five goals and scoring a double.

Kane and Andrew Bentley, along with former Pt Chevalier Pirate Tyla Hepi, helped Toulouse Olympique to a 60-4 thrashing of the Bradford Bulls.
