Times are tough for the Kiwi contingent playing for Catalans in the south of France, with the Dragons suffering a humiliating 46-0 shutout at the hands of Salford over the weekend.

Former Kiwi international Sam Moa, and back-rower Kenny Edwards, took the field in the loss. There may also be some nerves for Otahuhu Leopards junior Sam Kasiano, who has signed for Catalans from the Melbourne Storm.

Carlos Tuimavave and Sika Manu had nine offloads between them for Hull FC, as they eased past a Leeds side which contained Konrad Hurrell and Tuimoala Lolohea, while Dominique Peyroux was among the scorers for St Helens as they beat London 26-0.

Ben Murdoch-Masila got over the line for Warrington in their victory over Castleford, while the Huddersfield Giants, who have Sebastine Ikahihifo, Ukuma Ta’ai and Suaia Matagi, beat Thomas Leuluai and the Wigan Warriors 14-6.

Down in the Championship, Widnes captain Hep Cahill grabbed a try for Widnes in their win over Barrow, while Jake Webster took the field for Bradford as they beat Batley 16-6.

Constantine Mika and Tyla Hepi both played for Toulouse as the French outfit produced a huge second-half effort to crush Toronto 46-16, with Bodene Thompson seeing game time for the Wolfpack.
