The Kiwi trio of Tinirau Arona, Bill Tupou and Justin Horo suffered their first defeat of the Super League season with Wakefield last week, going down 30-18 to Thomas Leuluai’s Wigan Warriors, in a game where Arona crossed for a try.
St Helens remained clear top, with Zeb Taia and Dominique Peyroux helping the Saints to a comfortable win over Warrington.
Powerhouse centre Junior Sa’u scored for Salford in a loss to the Kiwi-packed Castleford Tigers, while Fetuli Talanoa scored Hull FC’s final try in a narrow 20-16 loss to the Leeds Rhinos.

Down in the Championship, Tyla Hepi scored two tries in the space of as many minutes for Toulouse Olympique, lining up alongside fellow New Zealanders Sam Rapira and Andrew Bentley, while Misi Taulapapa’s Featherstone powered past Swinton.
The London Broncos remained top of the pile, improving their record to 5-0 with a dominant 68-12 win over Batley, helped by a double to former New Zealand Maori rep Api Pewhairangi.
