The World Club Series in Australia meant it was a condensed round in the Super League, with Leeds, Wigan and Hull FC all away on tour.

Hep Cahill was huge for the Vikings too, making 51 tackles to go with 154 metres.
In the other major game, Wellington’s Mose Masoe scored a try for Hull KR in a 23-4 drubbing of Catalans Dragons.
In the Championship Bodene Thompson’s Leigh were edged by Barrow and Mark Ioane and the London Broncos cruised pas Featherstone, who had Misi Taulapapa score for them.
