Kiwi Ferns back-rower Teuila Fotu-Moala has been named the player of the Women’s Rugby League World Cup at a presentation in Brisbane today. (Photo: NRLPhotos).

Fotu-Moala was nominated alongside Kiwi Ferns teammate Honey Hireme and Australian Jillaroo Ali Brigginshaw.

The 24-year-old Otahuhu Leopards player/coach has been a standout in New Zealand’s unbeaten march to the World Cup final, which will be played on Saturday prior to the men’s final.
